Accepting Applications Vendors, Performers, and Alcohol Merchants

We are looking for unique merchants whose wares reflect the diversity of the thinned veil. Our goal is to create distinct "neighborhoods" within the Faire:

  • The Light Fae (Seelie): Seeking whimsical, ethereal, and family-friendly crafts. Think flower crowns, glittering wings, bright textiles, and charms of luck and light.

  • The Dark Fae (Unseelie): Seeking the gothic, the macabre, and the beautifully strange. We welcome bone art, dark jewelry, leatherwork, and artifacts of the "Shadowed Wilds."

  • The Human Realm: Seeking historical authenticity and traditional craftsmanship. We are looking for blacksmiths, weavers, potters, and those who showcase the "Old World" skills of the SCA and medieval life.

A truce is no time for silence! We are hiring talent to fill our stages and lanes with magic and steel:

  • Combatants & Historians: Groups capable of providing armored combat demonstrations, fencing, and educational displays of medieval lifestyle.

  • Musical Acts: From ethereal harpists and folk troupes to rowdy tavern singers.

  • Themed Characters: We are looking for "Quest-Givers" and interactive roleplayers who can help our guests navigate the lore of the thinned veil.

  • Street Performers: Magicians, jugglers, fire-breathers, and mimes who can adapt their "vibe" to the specific court they are performing in.

The Pact requires a toast… or several. We are seeking licensed vendors to manage our taverns and specialized tasting areas:

  • The Iron Tankard: Serving hearty ales and traditional meads for the Human Realm.

  • The Nectar Bar: Offering sweet wines and floral infusions for the Seelie spirits.

  • The Shadow Draught: Specializing in darker spirits and complex, spiced libations for the Unseelie Court.

The Pact of the Borderlands states that no guest shall go hungry while the veil is thin. We are seeking culinary masters who can provide a "Taste of the Realms." We encourage vendors to lean into the aesthetics of their chosen court:

  • The High Table (Human Realm): We are looking for the classics that fuel a village. Think hearty meat pies, giant roasted turkey legs, rustic sourdough boules, and thick stews. If it smells like a medieval kitchen, we want it here.

  • The Tithe of Sweets (Seelie Court): For the Light Fae, we seek the whimsical and the sugary. Honey cakes, candied fruits, floral-infused pastries, and colorful skewers that look as much like art as they do food. Kid-friendly options are highly encouraged for this sun-drenched corner.

  • The Forbidden Morsels (Unseelie Court): The Dark Fae have a taste for the complex and the savory. We are looking for smoked meats with dark glazes, earthy mushroom-heavy dishes, blackened spices, and "forest-floor" delicacies. If it looks a little mysterious but tastes divine, it belongs in the shadows.

(Note that the themed areas for alcohol and food will not be limited to the descriptions above, and we will organize similar vendors to be spread out throughout the event as best as possible)
